Dynamo and FC dallas join forces for hurricane recovery

Ahead of the Texas Derby, rivals come together with SNHU to help in restorations for homes recovering from Hurricane Harvey

Some things transcend rivalries. Before the first Texas Derby of the year, players and fans from the Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas joined forces with Southern New Hampshire University to help in the restoration efforts of homes still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Houston Dynamo defender A.J. DeLaGarza and Dylan Remick suited up alongside volunteers to remove mold from Dierdre Gregoire's home in Northeast Houston.

Joining the Dynamo and members of Texian Army were FC Dallas players Kyle Zobeck and Bryan Reynolds Jr, as well as members of the Dallas Beer Guardians. This was not the first time FC Dallas and the DBG assisted in hurricane relief efforts, as the North Texas club hosted the Dynamo and Houston Dash in the days following the hurricane and the Guardians collected donations to send to the Bayou City.
